Definition of Mobile Learning:

We have adopted 2 definitions of mobile learning...
Traxler: M-learning is the personalized, connected and interactive use of handheld computers in the classroom, in collaborative learning during fieldwork and in counselling and guidance.
Koole: M-learning is a process resulting from the interaction of mobile technologies, human learning and the social aspects of learning.

Why is this Trend Worth Investigating?
Mobile devices are becoming ubiquitous and are gaining functionality equivalent to traditional desktop computers. As students gain access to these tools, they will be able to use them to support their practices of teaching and learning. We need to study the possibilities of mobility and of these types of devices and what mobile connectivity can mean for education.
